Wellness Day 20 – The Pity Pot

Sometimes we forego gratitude and go right to what is wrong. We get stuck there. We internally loop our mistakes and regrets. Life is absolutely hard. Don’t take those peaceful, easy moments for granted! A wellness mindset and time can help you move forward. Acknowledge the emotion. Identify the cause of the distress. Take action, no matter how small, to make the situation better. Many changes will take time, effort, planning and patience. Break it down into smaller, manageable tasks. Then, do something else. Complete a menial task, big or small, that is productive. Anything. If you still feel down, call a friend. If that friend is unavailable, call another friend. If you can’t seem to shake the bad feeling then let it be. Eventually it will pass.
