Wellness Day 17 – Weather

Let’s begin by acknowledging that weather impacts mood. When the weather is nice, we often feel energetic and happy. When the weather is bad, we often feel lethargic and sad. Allow yourself to feel the emotion. 2 minutes. 20 minutes. 2 hours. Whatever you need. If you are having trouble shaking the negativity, try any or all of the following: listen to music, draw, paint, paperwork, chores, connect with other people, take a nap, plan something, get moving with an indoor workout, clean, organize, cook something delicious and healthy, hydrate, meditate, practice gratitude, watch a movie, research a topic that interests you, and simply relax. This, too, shall pass.
